Plan locally.

The calculator uses the file size, byte unit, entered speed and working fraction only in this page. Choosing a local file reads its size; the app does not open its contents or send the file or filename. No inputs are written to cookies, local storage or a database. Browsers may manage their own caching, form restoration and chosen files.

The optional test runs only after a deliberate generated-body choice. It sends exactly one generated 1 MiB binary body to this site’s same-origin receiver. Planning inputs, selected files, names and timestamps are not included. The receiver counts and discards bytes, stores no body or result, and applies fixed limits. Cloudflare Pages on its regular Free plan serves the static website and the own Worker receiver. Cloudflare can handle ordinary IP addresses, user agents and request metadata; see its privacy policy. The app does not log or store bodies, rates or planning inputs.

A local/unsecured receiver result cannot supply an Internet estimate. A public HTTPS-path burst includes request setup and response delay; it is not sustained access-line capacity. No third-party speed SDK, Cloudflare measurement/result logger, affiliate tag, advertisement or remote analytics collector is connected here.

Local event names contain only an action and local/HTTPS path scope. They omit file sizes, names, speed and scenario values. Links to provider documentation make normal requests to that provider; no private file information is put in URLs.

Receiver limits

The receiver accepts only a declared 1 MiB uncompressed binary body with the deliberate synthetic-test marker. It counts and discards streamed chunks: 12-second deadline, at most 512 chunks, two active requests and twenty starts per hour in each isolate. These memory counters are not a global identity/authentication or abuse limiter. CLI clients can forge headers; the browser control always generates unrelated bytes and never sends your selected file. No body hashing, durable storage, database, KV or third-party upload destination is used.

Worker Free has an account-level hard request quota and 10 ms CPU limit; no paid overage is enabled. Static assets bypass the Worker via its route map. Quota, CPU, stream or network failures produce no accepted rate. One burst samples only this browser-to-Cloudflare path and includes setup/response overhead, slow start and changing routing, not sustained access-line capacity or another destination’s speed.

Advertising and remote analytics are not configured. Google/Bing account verification artifacts are packaged from approved project bindings; native property verification and sitemap submissions remain pending. Cloudflare privacy policy.
